Since graduating from Ursinus, Jesse Wun ’22 has become a teacher at Chinese School of South Jersey, working to teach and preserve traditional Chinese language and culture. Now, he has earned a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, which will take him to Taiwan to help Taiwanese children study English language and American culture. Elle Potruch ’16 is a talent manager who works with disabled actors, directors, writers, and social media content creators. Her work helps to elevate representation of the disabled community in media—a community that she is part of, too.

Since its launch last November, ChatGPT—a chatbot created by an artificial intelligence research lab called OpenAI—has been all over the news headlines. With just a few prompts, it generates text that is indistinguishable from what a person would write. And, well, it has raised a red flag.
Ursinus celebrated its 150th commencement on Saturday, May 13, as 360 members of the Class of 2023 marked the end of their undergraduate journeys during the revered ceremony held on the Berman Museum lawn.
