Origin

The Teaching and Learning Institute began in 2010, thanks to the generous assistance of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the vision and dedication of Meredith Goldsmith, Associate Professor of English and creator of the original TLI, then the Teaching and Learning Initiative. The Teaching and Learning Institute is now fully supported by Ursinus College. Its co-directors work closely with the Office of Academic Affairs, Library and Information Technology, an Advisory Board from across the disciplines, and the TLI Student Consultants.
