Climate and Sustainability Action Plan

Our roadmap for achieving carbon neutrality and integrating sustainable principles on campus.

This document includes 30 chapters that are tailored to the college’s implementation structure.  Each chapter includes a description of a specific office or department, a list of actions that area is already taking and a list of suggested actions - many of which are tailored for the specific campus administrative areas.

What is the Plan?

In 2007, Ursinus College signed the American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment (ACUPCC). This action committed the College to going carbon-neutral by 2060 and writing a Climate Action Plan to guide us in achieving that goal. In 2013, the Climate and Sustainability Action Plan was born, and provides faculty, staff, administrators, and Student Fellows with guidance on how to lower our greenhouse gas emissions.
