Financial Aid & Scholarships

Ursinus College is committed to making a private education possible through generous merit and need-based aid, in fact, 99% of our students receive financial aid, merit and need-based scholarships.

A Helping Hand

Approximately 99 percent of all Ursinus students receive some form of assistance. For 2023-2024 Ursinus administered over $82 million in financial aid—nearly $56 million in the form of institutional scholarships and grants that do not have to be repaid. The funding for our institutional scholarships are partially underwritten by generous Ursinus alumni, friends, foundations, and corporations. Thousands of supporters are stepping up each year to help you afford Ursinus.

How to Apply

Prospective freshman can apply for need-based financial aid by completing the 2024-2025 FAFSA.  Students can apply for admission prior to completing the FAFSA.  If you do not intend to apply for need-based financial aid, you do not need to complete a FAFSA and will only need to apply for admission to the college.
