Students Travel to South Korea To Explore Human Rights

Offered for the first time, 18 Ursinus students had the unique opportunity to spend three weeks in Seoul, South Korea in May and June as part of a course titled Human Rights and the Korean Experience led by professors Christian Rice and Kelly Sorensen.

What We Do

Study abroad returnees will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • personal growth
  • intercultural sensitivity
  • ability to place academic learning in an international and global context
  • intercultural communication skills and/or foreign language competency
  • capacity for reflection
  • civic engagement or social responsibility
  • emerging postgraduate or professional goals
