Employment is possible. Please stop by the Center for International Programs to discuss your options.
International students may work up to 20 hours in an on campus position. Examples may include research labs, library, tech support, etc. Students are not permitted to engage in off-campus employment unless they are approved for OPT or CPT.
Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Curriculum Practical Training (CPT)
Any students engaging in any on campus employment, OPT or CPT will need to apply for a social security number. This process may take several weeks. Please visit your International Student Advisor, Paula Alvarez in Bomberger Hall 104 to start the process.
