Bear Beginnings: New Student Days
Bear Beginnings are spring in-person advising and welcoming experiences to help each student prepare for their transition to the Ursinus community in the fall. All incoming first-year students are strongly encouraged to attend this event on either Tuesday, May 21 or Wednesday, May 22.
We look forward to seeing our newest bears on campus this May!
- Meet with your first-year adviser, discuss your academic interests, and plan out courses for the fall
- Learn what steps you need to take over the summer to be prepared for the fall.
- Meet other new students. Maybe even find a roommate.
- Meet representatives from different offices across campus who will support you through your transition to college
- You will receive a personalized schedule when you arrive for your selected Bear Beginnings date.
Who Should Attend?
All students enrolling at Ursinus for the first time in the fall of 2024 (Class of 2028) should attend.
Parents and family members are welcome, as we will have sessions for them, too.
How Do I Register?
Students will only be able to register after they have paid their new student enrollment deposit by going to the Student Portal
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s important to register as soon as possible. An email confirmation will be sent to the student′s email address with their assigned registration date.
