What Bonner/Scholars in Service Means to Me

I choose to be a Scholar because I am passionate about giving back to my community. I wanted to be apart of an organization that provided me with the opportunity to be apart of something larger than myself. I also wanted to engage in difficult dialogues with a group of people with very diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.

Memorable Moment in Bonner/Scholars in Service

I loved our Saturday of Service at Cradles to Crayons. This service site is very special to me and I love getting to work on such a meaningful project with everyone!

Advice for Prospective Ursinus Service Leaders

Don’t be afraid to try new things! It took me a bit to find a service site that I was super passionate about and wanted to commit to. I tried various other service sites along the way and got to learn so much about so many amazing organizations through that journey
