What Bonner Means to Me

Bonner gave me the opportunity to gain connections in my school community. Community connection was something I valued strongly in my hometown but felt I was lacking when I got to Ursinus. The service I do in our community provides me with that connection, and my service helps to keep me grounded in my passions and who I’m striving to be.

Memorable Moment in Bonner

I loved our Bonner class about “filling our cups”. Some service sites fill our cups while others drain them. Having a balance between these sites, and knowing when you have no more in your cup to give, has been a crucial lesson in being a service leader for me.

Advice for Prospective Ursinus Service Leaders

Having a service site that relies on you to come weekly will help you stay motivated and accountable.
