I am interested in being a Sustainability Fellow because it is a unique was to engage with the Ursinus community. I love spending time outside, and working as a green building fellow will allow me to help incorporate what I love about the outdoors into our academic buildings.

I really enjoyed visiting the food forest for my Native North America history class. It was very interesting to learn about Indigenous planting techniques, and visiting the forest was a great way to merge what we had learned with our present day and community. I really enjoyed the collaboration between departments, and I hope that I can incorporate that into my work as a sustainability fellow.
