What do you love most about Ursinus?

I love having the opportunity to explore various types of classes and getting to know professors both in and out of my major! Ursinus also has some of the best study spaces, with Café 2020 being one my favorites!

What opportunities have you had to explore and grow your passions at Ursinus?

I’ve been able to explore my areas of interest within science through hands-on research in Dr. Cameron’s lab! In my extracurricular activities, I’ve also been able to explore what it means to be a leader and how I can incorporate those skills into both my everyday life at Ursinus and in my future career.

When did you first discover Ursinus was the right fit for you?

I realized that Ursinus was the best fit for me when I visited campus for my first tour! I felt that I would have the support I needed to reach my goals during my time at UC, and I knew right away that I wanted to be part of such an inspiring group of students.

What has been your favorite experience at Ursinus so far?

One of my favorite experiences so far has been joining the team in the Admissions office! On my initial tour of Ursinus during my college search, I made it a goal of mine to become a tour guide and be able to provide future bears with the same inspiring experience I had. It has been so fulfilling to give insight and advice to incoming students, and I’m so thankful for the opportunities I’ve had while being in the office!

Advice for incoming students:

Always be willing to try something new! You never know who you’ll meet or what experiences you will have. I never imagined I’d participate in Greek life, but reaching out and joining Tri Sigma has been one of the most fulfilling and exciting experiences for me. I’ve been so fortunate to learn more about being a leader and to have met some of my best friends. I would’ve missed out on so much if I didn’t decide to try something new!
