I had the opportunity to study abroad in Sevilla, Spain and participate in an internship program while abroad. I was placed in a hospital where I received valuable healthcare training to match my career goals, and I was able to practice hands-on patient care in Spanish. The program offered a few classes as well which allowed me to obtain credits to apply back to my major at Ursinus, and I could learn Spanish while immersed in a new culture.
