Ivy is a mission-driven nonprofit professional specializing in communications, fundraising, and leadership. She currently serves as the Director of Communications at the Alliance for Decision Education.

Ivy holds an MA with distinction from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, which she earned while on a Fulbright graduate student award, and holds a BA with distinguished honors in English from Ursinus College. She holds a certificate from the Bryn Mawr Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute and has taken classes on nonprofit leadership and board development. Outside of the nonprofit world, Ivy can be found in her local community garden, at the gym or cycling studio, or in the kitchen of her South Philadelphia row home, where she lives with her husband.
