Andy Prock
Associate Director of Preservation, Digitization & Discovery Services
Andy leads the Library team responsible for College Archives and Special Collections preservation, digitization and metadata services which enable discovery and access.
He manages the college’s institutional repository, DigitalCommons@Ursinus, which preserves and shares the scholarship and creative work of our students and faculty and provides access to the history of the college and local community. Andy is also responsible for cataloging the print and media items acquired by the Library.
Background
Andy joined Ursinus College in August, 2011. Prior to that he was the Technical Services Librarian at Rosemont College for seven years and worked in the bibliographic services department of the Berks County Public Library System while obtaining his library science degree.
Andy enjoys film, television and theater as well as reading, writing and drawing. He and his wife have two daughters and a house filled with books.
