Humane Studies Fellowship

Description

The Humane Studies Fellowships, begun in 1983 as the Claude R. Lambe Fellowships, are awarded by the Institute for Humane Studies to support the work of outstanding students who are interested in exploring the principles, practices, and institutions necessary for a free society through their academic work. Previous award winners have come from fields as diverse as economics, philosophy, anthropology, and literature. Fellowships range from $2000 to $12,000 depending on need.

Who can apply: Sophomores and Juniors interested in the intellectual and institutional foundations of a free society.
