Gaylen Gawlowski ’96 is an Emmy Award-winning television producer. She won the coveted Emmy in 2010 for her work as an executive producer for the popular reality show Top Chef. Ms. Gawlowski is Vice President of Current Programming at Magical Elves Productions in Hollywood, California. The company is responsible for creating Top Chef and Project Runway, both hits on the Bravo network. At Ursinus, Ms. Gawlowski majored in politics and minored in accounting. She found her way into the competitive entertainment industry as a field producer and story editor for several programs on The History Channel, Travel Channel, HBO, and Discovery Channel. As a researcher for The Learning Channel, she worked on the series Case Reopened.
