We are looking forward to seeing you at the 2024 Lenape Symposium. The event is sold out and promises to be an interesting and informative two days.

Location: The Symposium will take place in the Innovation and Discover Center (IDC) and use the Ninth Avenue parking lot on the Ursinus campus. This is accessible only from 9th avenue in Collegeville.

The Schedule: The posted schedule is accurate at the time of posting and the website will be updated if any changes occur. To reduce waste, we will use a QR code on site or you can access this link to view the schedule. If you prefer a printed copy, please bring that with you on the day.

Attire: Dress is business casual. As with any conference, the temperature may vary. You may want to pack a sweater or layer for the most comfort.
Water: Water will be provided. If you have a reusable bottle that you would like to bring, the building is equipped with filtered bottle fillers which you are welcome to use.

Registration: Registration on both days will take place in the lobby of the Innovation and Discovery Center (IDC). The sessions and meals on Tuesday and Wednesday will be held inside that facility, however there is a short walk to the Berman Museum for the Tuesday evening reception. It will be a good idea to check the weather report, an umbrella or raincoat may be useful.

Parking and directions:
Please note, there has been ongoing construction on Main Street in Collegeville. This may cause short delays in your travel.
General directions to campus and maps are available on the website. Your destination is the Performing Arts/Athletics Facilities parking and you can select that option for destination below the map on the web directions page. Parking will be in the Ninth Avenue Lot.

At the intersection of 9th Avenue and Main Street turn on to Ninth Avenue (from Rte. 29 via Main Street it is a right turn, from Limerick/Trappe it is a Left turn) and the parking lot entrance will appear on the right after you pass a row of homes.

Signs will be posted to direct you from the parking lot to the IDC.
If you have accessibility concerns, please contact Monique Kelly at mkelly@ursinus.edu prior to the event.

FAQs

Q - Can I pay using a credit card or debit card?

A - Yes. You can use a company, organization, or personal credit card or debit card via Venmo.

Q - Can I call to give you my credit card number over the phone?

A - No. Unfortunately, we cannot take cards directly at this time.

Q - How will I know my payment has gone through? Will I receive a receipt?

A - Venmo will acknowledge payment completion on your screen. It will likely appear on your statement as “Venmo”. It should also appear in your transaction history. We will send you a confirmation email once the payment has been reconciled to our registration lists. This is usually completed in the evenings Monday through Friday.

Q - What if I don’t have a Venmo Account?

A - You can use someone else’s Venmo account to pay using your credit card - just be sure not to save the card to their account. *Be sure to let us know what account name you are using so we can correctly credit your account. This can be done in the registration form at the time of registration or via email to mkelly@ursinus.edu.

OR You can set up a Venmo Account in just a few minutes and decide if you would like to save your card information to the account or not.
