Personal and Professional Development Opportunity “A Long Talk”
Open to all Ursinus Students, Faculty, and Staff - The Division of Inclusion and Community Engagement (DICE) is pleased to share this opportunity for the Ursinus community to take part in “A Long Talk”. This online program enables participants to reflect on the history of racism in the U.S. and consider ways to interrupt these practices.
A few faculty and staff took part in this experience in spring ’23, and we’re pleased to make it available again. All sessions will be held virtually.
The program takes place over two days with a two-hour Zoom session on each day, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Allows people to learn from one another and feel more connected
…in a setting that is supportive and facilitated so participants of all backgrounds feel comfortable taking part.” - alongtalk.com
Participants in “A Long Talk,” will automatically become a lifelong member of this community, gaining access to additional programs and discussions for the foreseeable future. We’ve also formed A Long Talk (ALT) Learning Community on campus, which will enable participants in the program to engage in ongoing discussions.
