President Hannigan Recognized as One of 50 “Women We Admire”

Women We Admire, a website that provides news and information on female leaders across various industries, has recognized President Robyn Hannigan for her work as a distinguished scholar, entrepreneur, and academic leader.

The website included Hannigan on its 2022 “Top Women Leaders of New York” list. She was provost of Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y., before becoming president at Ursinus College on July 1.

Among the many reasons for her inclusion on this esteemed list, Hannigan’s profile states, “Hannigan has earned wide recognition for developing and implementing strategic initiatives tailored to building both financial and institutional support for student success, research, and community engagement. A successful fundraiser and economic development partner, she has raised significant philanthropic support for facilities, scholarships, and research at the institutions she has served.”

This year’s awardees are leaders within financial services, healthcare, professional and business services, manufacturing, education, and more.
