Ursinus alumna presents research at UN Climate Change Conference
Dr. Manal Shehabi is a post-doctoral scholar at the Middle East Centre, St. Antony’s College, Oxford University, Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies and Research Associate at the Economic Research Forum. She is an expert on economic, energy and resource sustainability and policymaking in resource-dependent economies, especially in the Middle East and Gulf regions. Her research has been published in high impact journals, books and policy reports and she has provided policy advice to governments, firms and international organizations. She graduated with honors in International Relations and Applied Economics from Ursinus, earned a Master of International Affairs at the Bush School of Government and Public Policy at Texas A&M University, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Western Australia.
