2019 Scholarship Celebration

Held on our Founders Day, February 5, 2019, the annual Scholarship Celebration recognized the exceptional students who received named scholarships this year, as well as the donors who support them.
Bear2Bear Benefit and Bash Photo Gallery

On Thursday, April 11, Ursinus held our inaugural Bear2Bear Benefit & Bash at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve. More than 250 guests—including alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and other community members—were in attendance as together we celebrated the many contributions of Joan and Will ’61 Abele, who received the Bear2Bear Impact Award for Leadership and Service. There were more than 130 silent and live auction packages available for bidding.

By the end of the evening we raised approximately $200,000, from the auction, sponsorships and event donations, to support the Bear2Bear Student Emergency Fund which provides special grants of up to $5,000 to students who are facing temporary financial hardship as a result of an emergency or crisis situation. We are thankful to everyone who supported this event!
Alumni Induction Ceremony 2018

Alumni Induction Ceremony is a long-standing tradition where seniors are initiated into the Ursinus College alumni community. This year, Kelly Becker ’10 was the guest speaker for the event. Lisa Grossbauer was nominated by the Class of 2018 to give the last lecture. They receive their official alumni pins and celebrate with a champagne toast at the Berman Museum of Art.
