Berman Museum Awarded $245,900 from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage

At the Berman, Printmaking | Worldmaking Invokes Time Before the Digital Age
The museum also presents three other exhibitions through December 17 and a public opening reception for all the Berman’s current exhibitions will take place on Thursday, September 14, at 6 p.m.

Berman Museum Secures Largest Monetary Gift in its History
A $4.1 million bequest from the late Henry “Hank” W. Pfeiffer ’48, H’08 includes $3.61 million for the Berman Museum of Art and $500,000 for the Innovation and Discovery Center.

The Philip and Muriel Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College opens four unique exhibitions this spring: Essential Work; Lydia Ricci: Some Things Last a Long Time; Michael Dela Dika: Shaping Rhapsody; and José Ortiz-Pagan: Umbral.

Museum Studies Capstone: Curation
This year, a cohort of Museum Studies students are collaborating with Michael Dela Dika, a ceramic sculptor and educator, on an exhibition for their Curatorial Practices Seminar, the capstone experience of the Museum Studies minor. The exhibition, entitled Shaping Rhapsody, will open at the Berman Museum on January 20, 2023.

Donated by the class of 1921 to the then newly built Alumni Memorial Library, the clock is a reproduction of an iconic clock in London, England.

Beyond the Berman’s Walls
The Ursinus campus is famously adorned with an outdoor sculpture collection comprised of more than 75 contemporary artworks, which forms “a unique perceptual and physical gateway to the campus at large,” according to the Berman Museum. This is its story.
