Audition Instructions:
1. Sign up for a monologue audition time slot on the 2nd floor of the Kaleidoscope and take an audition packet. The sign-up sheet will be taped to the column at the administrative assistant’s desk by the offices on Monday, August 26.
2. Please prepare (memorization is optional):
a. for Into the Breeches: a monologue from the play chosen from those provided below.
AND
b. for Agatha Christie One-Acts: a 1-minute contemporary monologue from a published play. You may
choose one of the two monologues from The Patient if you wish, but students are encouraged to
choose an appropriate monologue from a published play.
Unless a student has a scheduling conflict with one of the productions, students are asked, but not required, to audition for both.

Fall Concert Open Company Auditions
Thursday, August 29, 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Helfferich Dance Studio in the FLB Center
The Fall Concert, Home is Here/Hear, directed and produced by Professor Michael J. Love, will be held on December 5,6, and 7.
The concert will include several new original works including, a Rhythm Tap Dance/ Body Percussion piece by Prof. Love with DANC 240 guest consultants Lisa LaTouche and Kaleena Miller; a Vernacular Jazz piece by Dr. Karen Clemente (Dr. C.); an Afrobeats/ Amapiano/ Afro Dance Fusion piece by guest choreographer Amber Rudolph; and a Vogue/ Ballroom piece by guest choreographer uwazi zamani.
Any and all Ursinus students interested in participating in the concert must attend Open Company Auditions and stay for the entire audition. Those interested in auditioning a student choreographed piece (later in September) must be sure that everyone in their proposed cast attends Open Company Auditions. Only students who attend Open Company Auditions may be cast and perform in the concert.
Students interested in both dance and theater may audition for both the dance concert on Thursday and the plays on Friday. Directors will address specific rehearsal schedules after casting! For more information, contact Professor Love at mlove@ursinus.edu
