Pre-Law Curriculum
Pursue an area of study that interests and challenges you. As the American Bar Association (ABA) notes in its advice to prelaw students:
“[s]tudents are admitted to law school from almost every academic discipline.”

Like the ABA, we do not recommend any particular major or set of classes. Rather, we encourage students “to pursue an area of study that interests and challenges you, while taking advantage of opportunities to develop your research and writing skills.” Students who are looking for a sense of what law school is like should consider taking the Moot Court course. Given the rigorous nature of this class, however, a strong academic record is a prerequisite. Please contact Anna Marks for more information.
