Civic Engagement

 Our students engage in projects with numerous community partners and field work in the Collegeville area, the Perkiomen watershed, other parts of southeastern Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia, among others.

Education

ENV students work on projects that support and strengthen science learning at multiple grade levels. This includes projects related to:

  • Climate Change Education
  • Watersheds 
  • Environmental and Landscape History

Environmental Enhancement

Our students get their boots and gloves dirty through field projects that improve the forests, streams, and places around us! This includes projects related to:

  • Rain Garden Construction
  • Reforestation and Afforestation projects
  • Riparian Restoration and Enhancement

Urban Sustainability

Students engage with organizations and projects that seek to improve suburban and urban environments. This includes projects related to:

  • Composting/Waste Systems
  • Stormwater Naturalization Projects
  • Urban Greening Community Assessments
